Our Nativity Fast flew by quickly while traveling across Russia. We wanted to introduce you more closely to our families who are located in completely different parts of our homeland. And it was a great success. After all, you warmed our children with your generosity, a person who does not know them. This is very important for everyone. These are not just gifts in material terms. This is exactly the love that the Lord called us to have. As Saint James says about true piety, that it is to look after widows and orphans in their needs.

16 families who submitted applications took part in the marathon. In total, we have 44 families under the care of the foundation, and it takes much more time to introduce you to all the others, though this is our goal in 2024.

Therefore, follow our news — there will be a lot of interesting things.

And we will return to the results of the marathon. All the children who wrote about their dreams received gifts, and this is our wonderful miracle for Christmas. We once again realized that dreams come true and the impossible is possible, which means there is a positive reason to continue working. Giving joy, love and good are synonymous and inseparable concepts.

And so as not to bog you down with generalities, we present here two post-marathon letters from our mothers. They are always to the point:

“God bless you all! We felt warmth, care and support. This is incredible happiness: through a gift, we came into contact with the warmth of another person. Julia, the team, the helpers, the philanthropists — you are definitely changing this world for the better! The children received treasured gifts! How happy they are because someone took care of them. It is so important for someone to make their little dream come true! The children asked: who are these people? Tell us about them! Why did their hearts respond and turn their cherished desires from dreams into reality? We sat and discussed with the children the miracles that we can create, that other people have created for us” (Matushka Irina Muravyova).

“Merry Christmas Eve to everyone. This is the wonderful holiday that everyone is waiting for with bated breath. Children are waiting for gifts on this day, but we are waiting for our miracle, we are waiting for PEACE! May peace and tranquility come to everyone both in our country and in our souls. For the first time this year, we did not take part in the Christmas marathon, although at the beginning we wanted to, but then my daughter said that she has everything she needs, and it would be better for the donors to send gifts to younger children who dream of them, but let my dream remain a dream for now.» (Matushka Maria Bocharova).
