February 26 is the fifth anniversary of the death of Father Vladimir Zhukov

Mother Tatyana Zhukova shared her joy that, on the initiative of her spiritual children and parishioners, a book of memories about the priest was published:

“It contains those memories, kindness, warmth and love for him… We are all his family! We remember and love him. It’s difficult to find words to express feelings… Here’s a new spring, and with it nature wakes up, birds come to life, there’s a hubbub all around…

He walked his path, bearing the pastoral cross with dignity, so that his children, scattered throughout our native country, burn with prayer candles! The children and I sincerely thank all those who supported, helped and prayed for us.

For me personally, for our family, the help of the foundation is difficult to overestimate. Last year, we completed the repair of the caisson, a water storage tank for our house in the village, repaired the basement, raised and developed the area behind the house, visited grandfather in Crimea and began the next serious stages in the children’s lives.”

Reading such news from our matushkas, we are inspired that life goes on and that spring begins, no matter what.

Let us recall that after the death of father Vladimir, Matushka Tatyana was left with four children, one of whom is disabled with cerebral palsy. For five years now, the foundation, thanks to you, has been helping this family, and only thanks to you are they doing well. Priest Vladimir Zhukov, rector of the church in honor of St. Luke Krymsky and Blessed Matrona of the Moscow village of Krasnovo, died in an accident on February 26, 2019.
