«I am Mother Svetlana Kuzina, I have seven children. Two are adults and have their own families. I am raising the other five of them myself.
The eldest, Victor, is 15 years old and is in 9th grade. He’s a good young man and sets an example for the younger ones. He helps me around the house, mowing the grass or clearing snow. He is interested in sports, volleyball, has many awards and certificates, and win awards in sports. He seriously thinks about further studies, makes plans, and prepares for exams. I would like him to receive the book ‘The Richest Man in Babylon’ by D. Clason as a gift.
Seraphim is 10 years old. He entered the 5th grade and dreams of becoming a priest, like his dad, so he regularly goes to church for services and helps the priest at the altar. He likes school, he grasps everything perfectly, does his homework himself, and his teachers praise him. He dreams of receiving a phone as a gift.
Sofia is 6 years old. This year she entered 1st grade and she also attends music and Sunday school. Studying is easy for her, so she pleases me and her teachers with her accomplishments. She recently won a reading award. She also started taking vocal classes, and the teachers praised her very much, affectionately calling her ‘our star.’ She would like a “LOL” doll for Christmas.
Nikolai will soon be 6 years old. He is gradually preparing for school. He takes it very seriously, studying his alphabet. He enjoys listening to his older sibling’s stories about school. Unfortunately, he gets sick often, but we hope that with God’s help his immune system will get stronger. He really likes visiting monasteries and churches, behaving like an adult, carefully observing everything. He wants Legos as a gift.
Luka is the youngest. He is 4 years old. He makes me happy with his intelligence — he knows all the colors, knows how to count, and never lets me get bored. He knows how to stand up for himself and even in games he is competitive. I see a growing resemblence to his father. Even at such a young age he tries to help me. He would like a remote-control car.
I am very grateful to the foundation and to all remember the grief of others.»
